This seems absurdly simple, but I haven't figured it out. Using IE7. Until a day or two ago, I could have as many IE windows open as I want. I still can if I want them all to be my home page. BUT I can't do what I could do which was keep as many windows as I want open even if they are opened by links from whatever source or in any other way. Now I have to open my home page and then paste a link in. This is NOT how it worked on Friday. Don't know what I did, but would like to go back to what I had. I've checked option all over the place and nothing seems to help. If I haven't explained this clearly enough, let me know. Thanks!

Try system restore Before posting try google. Backup. Use anti virus software.

i'm not sure what exactly your problem is ... maybe this will help: Select "Internet Options…" from the "Tools" menu. On the "General" tab, in the "Tabs" section, choose "Settings". Clear "Open home page for new tabs instead of a blank page".
