I have Windows XP and I downloaded KazaA. Now it shows everytime I open KazaA an Error. And my songs I downloaded once are gone. Since yesterday I also can't listen to them anymore!!! What's going on with it? And can I download an uninstaller of KazaA somewhere??? Hope someone can help me! Please!!!
Does KaZaA not show up in Add/Remove programs? it does for me, though I havent tested uninstalling it, as it works fine for me under XP, also, you might want to download the latest version and see whether that changes anything.

Amanda, Go to Start, Control Panel, look for Add/Remove. Open and look for Kazaa, click on it and then click on remove.

I would recommend KaZaaLite which is the spyware-free version. Read about it at http://www.kazaalite.com. Good luck

first off!! don't use kazaa!! a california company called brilliant software is working with kazaa and they have included a patch with the kazaa install software that allows them to use your computer for their purposes!! they can because when you install kazaa, in the small print of the liscence agreement form you give them permission!! here is my advice!! go to Xenomorph.net, download and install xolox and the fix for it!! once you have installed xolox, do a search for a program called "Add Remove Plus 2002" and with that you should be able to get rid of any and all remnants of kazaa!! xolox is, bar none, the!! best p2p client I have ever found!! no ads!!! no spyware!!! a very small and compact program that takes up almost no space on your harddrive!! simpler to use than ANY!! of the others!! other than that, you can go to www.cleanclients.tk and there they have streamlined versions of various p2p clients, that is they have removed all the ads and spyware!! I would suggest you get grokster there if you are used to kazaa as other than the name , and the sleazy brilliant patch, it is identical to kazaa!!

Actually Tom I know that kazaalite.tk in at the moment down, that's why I suggested the other site.
