when i stop or pause protection of kaspersky 2008 anti virus,it is get dimmed,tell to enable it,whenever enable ,it gets start to scan,and my pc slows down,is stoping or pausing protection disable to antivirus or its spyware or malware,i have stopped scan my computer,but it is second option that runs,"protect my computer" i have already been fully scanned my computer,and remember it is not scheduled run,shall i stop scan or not please reply me thanks a lot

Kaspersky (and ZA's ZASS) will not like to beoffended by stopping the scan. I suggest you just let it scan. It may take 10 min or so. yes, it is nagging, but neither KAV nor ZA care. Another possibility is that you are using CCleaner, or similar internet junk remover. Just uncheck the remove log file for Kaspersky. Many a times, antiviruses need the log file to keep note of what processes have been finished.
