What operating system are you using? Your spec says W98 yet you have posted on the XP forum.

What you have given is not the normal syntax for Windows. Forward slashes are used in Linux.

We need more information, including where you found the string you posted.

Please do not post then vanish - let us know the outcome

I am sorry (-. -;)
I was away for awhile.
I am using an xp computer & windows 98...But I am asking for windows xp.
The files for the game I am playing I was told that they were in %cachedir%/l<local x>_<local y> and m<local x>_<local y>
Maybe the guy was using Linux??
What would be the equivalent for windows??

Danke. ^^

Yes, check back with the guy. The syntax and folder arrangemets for Linux are totally different to that of Windows, so I can't even give you a clue. If the game was written for Linux there might be a Windows version available.
