Hi to all,

I encounter a problem which simply drives me mad with a website which allows to create sky charts by entering data in 2 successive steps (screens).

My problem is that the input fields of the second step (generated after the input of the first step) are incomplete, only the upper fields show up. It works fine for all users, as I could check on a forum.

The problem is the same within IE 7, Firefox and Maxthon.

Yet, it worked correctly 1 or 2 times, but no way since.

Javascripts are allowed everywhere (so far as I know), including in my firewall.

I am using XP SP2 French version on an Acer laptop. I just cleaned up the registry again and again unsuccessfully...

I would be REALLY THANKFUL for any advice to help me sort out this stupid issue !

Thanks in advance - Claude B

Hi Ed,

What is the website that has the problem? Does the web page ask you to install any ActiveX component? You might need a MS ActiveX control installed on the pc for the charting software.

I also forgot to mention that it may be Java. Does the site say any requirements are needed to use the page?

Hi SysLock,

Thanks for your input. The site is working fine for most applications, apart from the one I mention.

However, as the site uses php, I cannot exclude the possibility that the server returns an incomplete page to me, altough why me alone in the world ...

Anyway, thanks for the help. I will survive !

Claude
