hi all,
am having trouble getting my PC to detect the correct version of JAVA. Am trying to install something by running a .exe which needs java 1.4 or higher and i have a few instances of java installed on my pc and it keeps picking up java 1.3 even though i have updated my classpath, java_home and path to start with java1.4

any ideas on what to do ??

thanks in advance.

i need different versions of java for different apps. however i found another way to make the .exe look at the correct jvm and that is to run it from command line with a '-vm' option.
