XpUser4Real, hello! I run into this same issue from time to time. The only fix is to uninstall and then reinstall Java RT. It is an issue with pogo and it corrupts the files. That is why it remains working in other browsers and web pages. as a follow up...also I think that Ccleaner and RegscrubXP also cause a problem with corrupting the java RT files... credit to "per" for this find as he had issues also with Java back about a year ago.
