Is there any way that I can change my Japanese version of XP Home to display menus etc in English.
Or do I have to install a separate English lang. OS which I could boot up instead?

THanks for the info...I tried it though, and it didn't work. The menus stayed the same, but it wouldn't recognise Japanese characters for some windows.
