ok so i got a new IPod Touch. I went to apples web site and downloaded the itunes /qp software. but when i click on itunes icon it doesnt run the program. when i go all the way into where the program was filed and click on it there , it still wont runn. I spent 6 hours on the phone with apple tech support and they cant help me either. Also when i look at the task manager it says nothign is running but when i look at aplications on the task manager it says itunes is running. When i go to shut down my computer it tells me itunes is not responding. but its not running and the itouch is just a paper weight without itunes. Help! Nita

I don't know if i did it as an administrator... How could i tell? As for what version.. i just went to apple.com and downloaded the latest version...

and yes I rebooted... a few times and the same thing happens every time.. that is nothing happens...
