so lately, I have been having big problems with my itunes on my computer. In March, I got an ipod for my birthday. SInce then, Ive been having big problems with the itunes on my computer. After being installed, itunes only works for around one or two days, lately its even worked for around a week. But after that, it just wont open anymore. When that happens I delete it from my computer, uninstall it and everything, and then after using it for a while, it stops working again, as in, it doesnt open, whatever I do. Presently Im downoading the new itunes from the apple website, and I am hoping that it will work normally. I know many, many people who have ipods, or are currently using itunes, and none of them have the same problem as me. In addition to that, I used to have ares, and downloaded a lot of music onto my computer. I listened to the downloaded songs on my ipod, and had them on my itunes program, but recently, whenever I clicked on that song, or pressed play (in itunes) a window pops up that says: itunes suffered a problem and must be shut down. This only happens when I attempt to listen to downloaded songs. With music that I have imported from CDs this doesnt happen. Do you have any idea what the problem might be, and how I can fix it? Because I cant use my itunes or ipod right now, just because it keeps on not opening, and im on the verge of a breakdown
thanks in advance!

When you install a program and keep uninstalling it . it truely never leaves the computer totally it leaves whats known as orphan files so in case as you have try to reinstall it , it knows you had the program before and can find a reference file. I suggest totally uninstall it then go into the drive you have on your computer whether it be C drive as most are labeled and look under Program files find ITunes and delete it then try reinstalling the newest version that way no orphan files are there. .
