I have just purchased an iPod nano and have downloaded both the iTunes and Quicktime exe setup files to my PC which is running Windows XP. I cannot open either files without it saying there is a digital script problem? I have downloaded the lastest updates etc from Microsoft. Can u please help me install iTunes to my PC please, as I have no music! Thanks
Are you selecting save or run when downloading ITunes and Quicktime?
Try selecting run and see what happens. If it fails then try saving the ITunes and Quicktime files and then try installing them while in the Safe Mode. Enter the Safe Mode by restarting the computer and tapping the F8 key as BIOS info goes by.
At the Windows Advanced Options Menu select Safe Mode with networking..
At the Welcome screen select (the hidden) "Administrator".Install the programs.
