Hi all! i have this Bullguard antivirus program in my XP comp, but when i was trying to quarantine, cure, or delete a virus (i don't know which one it was gonna do), it said that it encountered a problem and couldn't operate. since this happened i wanted to unistall it. when i went to the control panel and to "add or remove programs", i tried to unistall it, but it said it encountered a problem or something like that, exactly what it says when i try to cure the viruses. i tried to delete it and all its links, but it said the same thing. this happened to other files on my comp, too. so does anyone know how to get it out of my hard drive?????

What I would try.
Disable the current anti-virus and then run an on-line virus scan: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ Click "Scan without registering". Once you have the virus, if any under control, re-stall your anti-virus program. This should repair the uninstall feature which may have somehow been corrupted.
