VIA/ S3G Display Driver. I don't find this specific name listed. I did find VIA Platform Device Manager. I am trying to install the free version of AVG and it says I need to remove S3GSetup in order to have the best performance. (S3GSetup is listed 23 times in the warning box) I did some research and found reference to the above mentioned VIA program and the S3Gsetup to be removed but when I checked it out they don't seem related and I don't want to delete if I might need them? But, I need the AVG, too and can't continue installing it until I do something with these. I don't know what to do.
AVG acknowledged this to be a bug with the current release as per THIS notice. You have two choice. Try fix it following the posted instruction or wait for this issue to be fixed in next AVG program update.
