-F8 after the POST screens. First try Last Known Good Configuration--NO Then,Boot into Safe Mode- Sign in as administrator. and make a new user account. Then try to boot up into new user--NO Looks as if your user profile(s) are corrupted. Still no good--Boot onto WinXP CD--may need to change boot order in the BIOS. Then choose the 'r'-repair option after the license agreement andf the automated repair launches(looks like setup). Good Luck
