issues with removing symantec antiv

removed symantec antivirus version and it looks like there are still some remnents still there.

Everytime I R/C on a folder(any folder) it brings up the installer to install symantec.

I have tried symantecs manual uninstall insctructions as well as other things with no luck.

Any SuggS?

timbob, Try the Norton Removal Tool for whatever version you have.

Thanks Tufenuf,

I have tried the removal tool with still no success. I beleive those removal tools are for norton's products. I am not sure if it is for corporate products which is what I have. symantec antivirus version 9.
