I recently had to perform a recovery on my Presario Desktop PC S5200NX with backup of user data. While noticing the program folder for my ISP was still installed, I wanted to uninstall via the add/remove program utility but the program wasnt listed. I also tried the uninstall.exe file listed in folder but couldnt open it. I tried to repair using the ISP CD software , but an error "C:\Program File\Earthlink TotalAccess folder couldnt be located. I requested assistance with Earthlink, but replies have been unsuccessful. Anybody, Please help!! Thanks

When you remove a program, sometimes the folder and a few files still reside on your system. Therefore, you need to remove that folder by hand!!! Why don't you remove it and then re-install your Earthlink from the CD again...

If the program isnt listed in your program files, and can be run - why worry about it? If you're that adamant on removing every scrap - search in the registry and delete anything to do with the unwanted program - but be careful! BAck up your registry first!
