Hey,
Is there a program that can "burn" ISO files straight to your HDD without having to use a CD?
Thanks
Monkey Boy =)

What is you are trying to do? ISO files usualy start out on a hard disk to begin with.

You can copy to a hard disk when compiling an ISO image, if fact that is the recomended thing to do.

ISO files a just a disk image designed for a CD. They have no practical use on a HD except as a place to store them. If you trying to make a HD boot as if it were a CD forget it. It wont work.

CloneCD is a simple little program that burns ISO files to CDs brilliantly. Unfortunately, the program makers had to remove it from the web because of 'copyright issues'. However, you can still get it at www.oldversion.com. The last released version was 4.2.0.2.

Once installed, just click the second icon (write to CD) and browse to your ISO file. Then, follow the dialogs...

I hope this helps,

James ;)

If you want to mount the iso use Daemon tools.

If you just need to extract files from the iso file I recommend Winrar. It is an excellent archiving program that handles iso files.

If you need to modify the iso give Winiso a try.

Hope this helps,
