Can anyone kindly provide me with (or point me to) step by step instructions on how to covert files downloaded in ISO format to CD using Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6.

The Roxio software is certainly capable of carrying out the conversion, however, the Help files are rather less then helpful.

Thank you. Peter

Well in version 5, it's something like this:

Get to the main Easy CD Creator program. (If a project selector comes up, pick Data CD and click thru that wizard until the main program appears.) On the file menu click an option like "Record CD from CD image." In the file window that appears, click files of type and select ISO. Then browse to the ISO file and choose it.

Hope that helps. Post back if it doesn't.

Thanks for your quick reply.
I have found the drop downs you referenced under File.Only problem is (having followed Help as best I can ) I am now sat looking at 8 CD's all with exactly the same file in the same condition as that on my hard drive which I am trying to convert, ie,unuseable!.
Perhaps I have downloaded a corrupt ISO file?
Thanks for your help todate. Peter

There's a useful program Daemon Tools that lets you load an ISO as a virtual CD-ROM drive. This could help indicate if your download is corrupt. (It's surprisingly quite useful.)

Alternativly, if you downloaded the ISO from a site that gives MD5 checksums, you can use this program to see if the ISO is corrupt.

I don't use Ezcd so I can't really help there but this program should help you out.

Good luck,
