I'm getting a isass.exe error with a message that it will shutdown in 60 seconds...something about a NT authority or security error...

You have either the Blaster and or Sasser virus. All the AV companies have tools and instructions to repair this.
Also lots of posts on how to fix this have been posted on this forum.
Also update to service pack 2 which has fixed this problem...

Wel....I ran stinger and got nortons removal tool.....and i'm still getting the error...
any more ideas???

try this also To remove this virus "by hand", follow these steps:
Reboot the system into Safe Mode (hit the F8 key as soon as the Starting Windows text is displayed, choose Safe Mode.
