Hi all,

As my printer was printing in pink color, I thought it had something to do with the driver. So I downloaded the latest drivers for my LEXMARK 1020 Color Jet printer. When I restarted the system went thru POST, goes to XP Boot Screen and when it's just about to get to desktop, it gives me an error "Isass.exe has caused an error.Set values have been changed ,,,,,,and restarts. I've tried F8-- last good configuration and other options in START UP menu,,but none works,,,takes me to SAFE MODE Screen & comes up with the same error & loops.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Cheers:)

Have you checked your ink levels? A color cartridge typically contains three compartments: yellow, cyan, and magenta. If one is empty, colors will not appear correctly.

When you get to safe mode, do you have a chance to do anything before the computer reboots? If so, click WinLogoKey+Break (to bring up system properties), click advanced, and click the bottom settings button. You will then want to uncheck the box that says "Automatically Restart"

Good Luck...

But looks like I'll have to reinstall the O/S.
