when I start the computer,I get the following error " isass.exe - Operation failed" The requested operation was unsuccessful. on clicking, the computer re-starts and get the same message again. I canot even start on the safemode also. Can somebody help me to sort out this roblem.

isass or Isass (lower case or upper case i) is a bad guy.
lsass or Lsass (lower or upper case L) is a valid windows file.

You can try to recover by following http://webcast.broadcastnewsroom.co... but you will need a XP install cd or a set of boot floppies and the administrator password for the recovery console. If password is unknown, you can download petri from the web link.
