I turn on my computer and after it shows the black screen with the Windows logo the screen goes black and there is a little window titled Isass.exe Bad Image that says The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system 32\DNSAP1.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check against your installation diskette. I click okay and it's just a black screen and won't get to my desk top. What do I do? I've had other situations like this, where I could not get into Windows. The other times it would happen, it wouldn't get as far as the Windows screen and there was no message in a pop up window like this...just a black screen. I've used the installation disk to repair and rebuild before. Is this a similar thing? Please, if you could give me instruction on how fix the proplem, I'd really appreaciate it. Thank you.

try a normal boot.

2. boot in Safe Mode and select "Last Known Good Configuration", or
