I have installed XP corp version,it wont detect my modem which is on com 1 it says some sort of problem, have tried com 2 wont work either not seeing modem on com 2

if i remember correctly XP offers 0 support for ISA devices on the grounds that they are a legacy device (extremely old but kept around for backward compatibility)
i dont believe you will get any isa device to work (unless MS has a change of heart)
only thing you can do is switch to a pci or usb modem

Windows Xp does support isa devices, it just does not find them.
if you have isa devices you need to add them using the add new hardware wizard, as they are not plug and play.
i know there supported because i am using an ES688 ISA sound card, which is about 6 years old and XP had all the drivers and everything for me, just needed to install it using a wizard.
becarefull though because i was under the impression that it was not working, intergrated devices take over , so disable them if you are adding duplicate devices, sound, video ect.
hope thios helps

hey, thats just what i remember reading. If you have it working great.
uhh Barbara Streisand? tuneless? ugly?
