I have a question about a DELL 8200 and a HP deskjet 960c printer. Which forum should I post this question in? I tried the PC forum but it seems to be all #@%* up.
This is a question for a friend. I am a MAC user (sorry) and have NO idea what the heck I'm doing!

In case anyone here wants to take a stab at this question, by the way, here goes.
I simply need to know how to tell the printer to center the image I'm printing on the page. When I print I get a REALLY wide left margin. I'm sure there must be a centering button somewhere . . .but WHERE? Yeah, Yeah, I know . . . I'm an idiot!

Thanks!

PC forum ?

I would say to check printer properties or the margin settings on whatever editor the friend is using.

First check the document in the software program. It might be set to give large margins. Next, check the printer's printing properties. My printer has an option to center the printing...

He is not asking a question about a Mac. He is asking a question about a Dell 8200. He simply said that he is a Mac user and is asking the question for someone else. Read the question! sheesh!

I have the same suggestions as David. Look at whatever the settings are in the software being used. Also check the printer properties.

Good Luck!
