Is this system capable of playing Doom 3 , FarCry and Half life 2 at a respectable frame rate that I will be building the specs are AMD Athlon XP 2900+ CPU Geforce FX 5500 Video Card 512 mb of PC-3200 ABIT Motherboard 120 Gig EIDE Hard Drive 7200 rpm

I'm playing it on a 3000+ 5700le with 768ram. A a real low res I even get a "playable" frame rate. Doom3's hardware scans recommends high settings but I used the medium settings and it playes good, except for all the jagged lines... Truth can become lie, but if lies become truth we're in trouble.

I played Doom3 on 2.4 P4 1024mb PC-2100 (Corsair) Radeon 9500pro just fine on medium settings. I even took it to high settings and still had next to minimum lag. What you have will def work. Just mess with the settings a little bit and you can put it on high and have fun with it. Don't use a weakness, don't change the subject, don't ask the questions if you fear the answer All I can say, is that my life is pretty plain, you may not like my point of views, but that’s ok
