Google up Microsoft Private Folder 1.0 and see if you like it.

Note: The above tool lacks a recovery mechanism, unlike XP & Server 2003's EFS Encrypted Recovery Agent (ERA) - if you forget or lose the password for the encrypted file, you are majorly stuffed.
