Is it safe to move Windows Document

Comment:
I just tried to move my C:/Documents and Settings directory within Windows to my Data partition (M:) and get the following message: You are Sharing C:/documents and Settings/All Users/Documents as SharedDocs. The folder will not be shared after you move or rename it. Are you sure you want to do this? No one but me uses this computer so I do not need to share files. Would you move this folder if you needed the disk space. It takes up a gig and a half of space. Thanks for your help.

It can be moved but ONLY if registry changes are also made, commonly TWEAKUI is used for this purpose.

I guess, it won't be correct if just move the folder. The best solution is create image of your data and restore it on "M".
Post if you wish this way, and I explain you how to do it.

Jubalsams is dead right. Download tweakui, copy data to your backup, use tweakui to point to new directory then delete the old one, that's how I have always set up my machine.
