Hi,

I have XP PRO.

Question: Is it necessary or 'good' to restart the computer AFTER running a complete antivirus scan of the system AND after defragging the hard drive?

Thanks

It's not necessary. Can't think of any 'good' reason to do it.

Thanks, Ernie.

Since I'm not very well with computers, I was asking this question because I was 'guessing' that after running antivirus and/or defragging, it would be probably be a good idea to 'synchronize' everything by restarting; after the 'workout'.

THANKS
