Dell Studio laptop with intel core 2 duo...

Specs: Windows XP
My DELL laptop Core-2-duo 1GB RAM / 120GB HDD / Windows VISTA, but i remove it and install Win XP 4 month ago..I have 3 partition in my HDD other than C/

Yesterday, suddenly its started rebooting automatically... Also i did not install any sftwr or any hardwr in it yesterday..I can't even get in safemode, last known confi. and normal mode.. every time it again rebooting by itself.. this is the first time i encountered with this kind of problem..

whn I disable restart mode it shows

usually relates to hardware drivers. Could be disk corruption or a piece of hardware failed/flakey

I would suggest you get into recovery console and run chkdsk /p on the OS partitions [system and boot]

Yes there is a way if you have an ISO Burner google ERD Commander and download the softwear for XP / Vista Which ever your motherboard is and load that it is all connected to your hard drive at start up load this and run cd the ERD commander is perfect for this and the utilerty will give you a reasion why you are getting this probelm and how to fix it, it also has lots of other utilerties including regedit, cmd, msconfig, system restore and more it is a great program and is well woth using it will sort your problem out let us know how you get on
