I have a dell optiplex 745 system. I upgraded the RAM to 4 gb and this IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error with 0x80522CFD started.
Google didn't help me much on this. Does anybody have an idea what might fix this? The OS is XP Pro SP2.
Just to be precise, I had 2 x 512 PC2-5300 DDR2-667 240 pins RAM, I took them out and got 4 x 1GB PC2-5300 DDR2-667 667MHz 240 pins RAM. I can start the windows but after about 10 min the blue screen comes up
The bios screen is dell's new model bios screen and I have no idea how to change the voltage settings.

Why would you want to change the voltage??Try any of the following, get a memory test programs to test your memory modules you fitted.
Get the software from here
Then burn it to cd then boot from the cd and run all the test for several hours to see if anything unto wards shows up.
Also worth removing and reseating the memory modules, checking that you have not disturb any wiring which could be interfering with any cooling fans.
Also could try taking two memory modules out and running on two GB then swapping them around to see if you can identify a fault module.

I have spent many a long day trying to fix this problem with my system. It only occured several months after I put it together.
(asus p5nsli, pentium d 3.0, 2 gig ram, 256 ati)
I Replaced the Ram, Soundcard (soundblaster audigy back to live 5.1) and videocard.
I also reformated several times and the same problem would always occur after A few weeks.
So before I was about to replace the motherboard and processor I upgraded the Bios.
It's been several months now with no problems.
