I get blue screen errors when playing graphics-intensive games (like Star Wars Galaxies). Sometimes the message indicates the problem is with nv4_disp.dll or win32k.sys. However, whenever the error is IRQL related, it always mentions IRQL 2. I can't find what's assigned to this IRQL. Does any know?

Here's my system:
Gigabyte GA-7VRX KT333
Athlon XP 2100+ 512MB
Leadtek GeForce 3 Ti200 128MB
SB Audigy
Windows XP SP1
60 GB HD
Antec TruePower 430W PSU

I've run Memtest 86 and it didn't find any problems. I've also run AdAware and Norton AV and it came up clean. Sandra says that the PCI latency timer for my NIC it 80 clocks, but I've been told that sometimes Sandra makes mistakes.

You can view all your irq assignments in the device manager.

Right click my computer, select properties. Go to hardware tab. Device manager button.
Once in the device manager, go to view/resources by type
Click the + symbol to expand the inerrupt request category.

dwardy,

I did that but IRQ 2 isn't assigned to anything.

IRQ 0 - system timer
IRQ 1 - keyboard
IRQ 3 - Communication port COM2

Is IRQ the same as IRQL?
