This may not be the best place to post this messsage but I really have no where else to turn. I just got a brand new iPod with no songs on it yet. I have almost 1000 songs on my computer from CDs that I have purchased. Thinking that I wouldn't need the original CDs anymore, I gave them to my friend who has moved out of state and would not be able to get them back to me. I want all of these songs that I have on my computer to go on my iPod. However, when I try to put them on my iPod, there is an error that says it it copywrited/licenced material. Is there any way that I can delete the licence on my music files and move them onto iTunes to be syncronized with my iPod??? Or for that matter ANY way I can get these songs on my iPod. I cannot write these music files to a CD either because it says something about it is licenced material or something. PLEASE HELP!

Now that you dont own the cd's anymore you are not allow to have them on your Ipod. This is the reason Ipod has done this.. Once the cd is gone, You dont own the lisense for the music anymore.
Junk Internet Explorer,
Get Firefox! You'll be happy you did.

Maybe you should trade the Ipod back in and get something else. Ipods almost always cost more so you would be able to get another MP3 player with more space and more features for about the same price. Although as Buzz said there is a way to get the MP3s on but it cannot be said here how nevertheless I have a hint for you : Google is your friend.
