when i type in ipconfig /all from the run menu, the ipconfig stuff comes up,but the window closes right away..the same thing happens when i make a shortcut on the desktop
when i type in the command from a command prompt, it says that ipconfig is not a vaild command

any ideas?
i really would like to c what my config info is

try going to cmd.exe in the run command first then typing ipconfig /all

cmd and command are two seperate processes...

Try running it in a cmd window vs. command window and see what happens.
