ipconfig window

I am tring to open the ipconfig box by entering ipconfig into the run box. It opens for a moment then closes. Is there anything I need to do to keep this open. Thanks, Steve

In the run box type CMD and press enter. or go to Start/all programs/accessories/command prompt. That opens command window and you can then run ipconfig with the result remaining visible Goin' Fishin' (Some day)

type cmd in the run box then use ipconfig in this new window
