|MickO, I couldn't get John's link to work, so here's my 2¢ worth. First (and maybe easiest?), make sure they're not in your 'deleted' folder, Maybe your filter read them as spam and deleted? If not, ask your correspondent to resend them. If they were sent as an attachment (my guess) have him put them in the body of the mail or vice versa. |
If still no joy, the infamous red 'X' can have a number of causes. Generally it means that for whatever reason, the address specified couldn't be reconciled, if he's relying on a link to the photos rather than the photos themselves, chances are you're not able to read it.
If it appears in mail I've sent (I use OE for mail), I've found that if I FIRST save the pix to my machine it works, maybe he needs to try that?
