I am not sure if this is what you are asking for. But, if you want to find out what your IP address is just go here:

http://whatismyipaddress.com/

If you are trying to find out something else please explain. Is it your IP address you want or are you trying to find someone elses IP Address?

If you are trying to find the IP address of a website you can open the Command promt (Start -> Run and type in CMD) and type in "Ping www.websitename.com" (without quotation marks. This will give you the ip of the website.

You probably won't find what you're looking for.

I have found reverse ip lookup places just like the reverse phone number lookup, but they all charge.

Try this:

http://member.dnsstuff.com/pages/to...

It will tell you the owner of any public IP address. It will also tell you the owner of any domain name except domain names owned by private individuals who can opt out of having there details displayed.

To do what; register a domain name or do a IP or reverse lookup. If the latter, nothing, sod all, zilch.

If you look at the link it says Free DNS Tools.

What information are you looking for? The name of a person using a particular IP?

Yes.. a name or at least somthing that would tell me who it belongs too. For instance if it were someone I knew.... enough information that I could put 2 & 2 together.

IP addresses are allocated in blocks to commercial companies, including ISPs. To find out which address has been allocated to to an individual you are going to have to contact the ISP concerned and they don't usually give that kind of information out without good reason, usually a court order is required.

If you think you have been the victim of some malicious activity you can contact the ISP concerned and ask them to investigate.
