If the sender is on broadband so has a statis IP and your using outlook express you can right click on the message - properties - details - and the second recieved from down on the left contains the IP at the end
If any advice helps, please post back as it might help others.

Look at header for the E-mail. It shows the IP address of the source and the IP address of every mail server the E-mail went through to arrive at its destination.
Headers can take a bit of deciphering but the informations is there if you look closely.
Bear in mind though, that if someone wants to disguise there identity they can spoof their e-mail address.
