Hi. Two computers both have funky IP Address at Ipconfig /all. They look similar to this: FEO:SKW2:2382:192.168.1.78%2 now im not at those computers so i cant give the exact "IP Address" but as you can see, its half Mac address and half IP Address. Both, a Dell and another brand, do this.
I work at an ISP helping them switch customers over to PPPoE and we ran into this, completely screwed up....... Thanks

I would look to see whether the router itself is corrupted. part of that is the address for the router itself and is not a true IP address at all. AS it is given out as an IP address then some configuring is wrong. They may need to disconnect the router to get a true IP address.

Without the router do you get the same funky address or a 169.254.x.x address?
If funky its the local tcp/ip stack. Remove and reinstall networking would be my suggestion.
If 169.x.x.x then its the router. Clear the config with the reset button and start fresh. If still a problem contact the manufacturers support.
