everytime i try to install a big file usually over 100mb either from a cd or just a downloaded exe file i get

An I/O Error occurred while installing a file. This is usually due to bad installation media or corrupt installation file.

it cant be a corrupt file or bad media because i have downloaded the file a million times and it works on another pc

Anyone got any ideas coz im lost :-(
