Minime, just a guess, but that would prob mean that you have a floppy in the floppy drive when you powered on. Remove the floppy and reboot

how did you boot up to post this message then ? LOL

your hard drive might have failed. check in bios to see if it is detected. If it is detected, dos-based diagnostic utility that will check for errors and bad sectors. The hard drive manufacturer has such utilities free for download. You also could use the 'Ultimate Boot CD' from http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ or
the 'Emergency Boot CD' from http://ebcd.pcministry.com/

if in bios, the drive is not detected make sure your IDE cable and power cable are secured.

nope, there is no floppy disk in the floppy drive. and i don't have access to the bios, since the invalid system disk message is the first and only thing displayed.

I saw that you do not have a Floppy Disk in the drive but do you have a CD in the CDROM ? If you do not then I'd suggest to you that You have a virus on your PC and need to run a Virus Scan from the CD and boot to the CD to perform the Scan prior to booting your PC. Otherwise just as Tony said above, check the IDE Cable to your Hard Drive, The Power Supply would not send you this type of message text. A Virus would effect your PC in this nature.
