I made change to my partitions, and when I rebooted I noticed that I can't access Windows (The screen stops just before the Windows splash screen with the message "Invalid partition table" at the top of the screen. I am not sure what to do here. What are my options?

Do you know someone who has Partition Magic or Drive Image? They could make you some boot floppies of those programs. They each have a utility to make bootable floppies with the program on it.

I've used this method in the past to fix partition table errors (sure beats doing it manually). What you do is simply boot up using the floppy, then the program will automatically find the partition table error and give you the option to fix it.

If that doesn't fix it, you'll have to do one of three things:

1. Teach yourself how to manually recover a partition table

2. Wipe the drive and start over.

3. Pay someone to recover the partition table.

Sorry youi're having this problem. Good luck to you.
