invalid or corrupt jarfile

i have created a simple java application and saved it by name "simple.java" . its getting complile and .class file is also formed . bt it is not running. when i double click on it there comes a message "invalid or corrupt jarfile c:/simle.java ". what should i do??

Call on the correct name as c:/simple.java instead of c:/simle.java as noted in your post.
Otherwise post your question in the programming forum board on this site.
