Invalid MSDOS function

OS: Windows XP
CPU/Ram: 1.5ghz/256ddr

Sometimes when I try to copy certain CD-Rs, I get an error message that says: "Cannot copy <filename> Invalid MSDOS function." Does anyone know why this problem occurs or know how to fix the problem???
