invalid configuration information-please run setup program. Performing
automatic IDE configuration......

I get the messages above every morning when I turn on my computer. After
a
minute or so, it says the automatic IDE configuration is completed but
the
time of day and date were not set. After I press F2 to run the setup
utility, I set
the time of day and the date and then I press ESC and the computer turns
on
normally.

1.) Cleared NVRAM
2.) BIOS Defaults

The problem got better for awhile after I took these 2 steps but it has
been recurring again everyday for some time now.
