Or have you made changes to the boot order in your bios? You should check the bios boot order to make sure the hard drive is listed.
Is your hard drive listed in the bios summary screen when you bootup?

As stated above about the floppy/Cd disc being in the drives. The harddrive would be my next choice...but check for loose connectors / cables to see if that has caused the issue.
