hi, i have yahoo dsl and i need some help. recently, i have been getting ride of syuff i dont need and now i find that my internet doesnt work. i always get a cannot find page. I was wondering if anyelse knew the weblink that would bring me to my 2wire thing and reenter my user name and password because i have had this problem in the past but i have forgotten the address link XD Thanxs in advance.

i agree with per, that should restore your network settings back to when it was working.
if that doesn't work, your gonna have to ping the ip. open up the command prompt and type in "ping/ ip" w/o the quotes. then type in "ipconfig" also w/o the quotes. you should get the ip, subnet mask and default gateway addresses. if not, do it again until you see them. reset the modem and restart your computer. i have this problem with yahoo dsl all the time. thanks!!!
ps. have you recently uninstalled any firewalls or spyware programs? if so, that will mess with your network settings.

my DHCP Client is set to manual. the service is currently stopped and i can still get on the net. anything is worth a try though.
