Please help. I was having trouble with my computer. A virus infected it (the Windows anti spyware 2009) so i went about trying to remove it. I am wondering if i removed something that was important.

In any case, my problem is that i now have no sound for any web related video, music, or any noise, for that matter. I DO have sound for the rest of my computer, ie, startup, dvd's, itunes, etc, basically anything that is not run through the internet. Does anyone have any idea of what this could be? thanks!

Rebecca, SWAG, your AV firewall? Take a look at your security settings (look in IE) and be sure they aren't set any higher than 'med'. More than that will block downloads from the web. Doesn't really sound to me like anything was removed, just altered.
HTH.
