I have 3 computers connect through a Gnet router to the internet using the above connection. Since I installed the latest firmware, my internet has been unstable. I have to reset my internet every 10 minutes or so. Or else my internet won't work. Internet Explorers will not load any page if I don't reset my router. Sometimes if it's good, It will work for a hour or so but sometimes, I have to reset every few minutes. This is really bothering me, do you think it's the firmware that's causing the problem or it's the settings. I was using a DSL connection before and then just switched over to cable without changing my router's configuration, do you think that is the problem? please help!!

hi, reset your router and start over. DSL connection uses ppoe and most dsl ip's change everytime you restart the computer or the modem. your cable internet is most likely a static ip meaning it never changes.your router is most likely looking for the changing ip's <not real sure though>.reset and set it up using the static ip options. and changing browsers isnt not always the fix. keltik
