Comment:

I have a partition of Windows98 and XP pro.

My problem is that my connection in 98 is good (has no problem going from site to site and building), but in XP it takes more time for a site to build and go to another site.

I am using a Zoom pci modem.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks

Make sure you are running the latest drivers for your devices in XP. Check through your Event Viewer to make sure you aren't encountering any errors. Unless you are using proxy servers, UNcheck the Automatcially detect settings within your IE Properties. And make sure you have all the OS updates installed......
