sometime yesterday my computer became infected with a virus that resets my homepage to about:blank. it will also not let me access other websites. i have ran spyware doctor, spybot, ad-aware, and searched the registry. whenever i navigate away from areas that change the homepage (internet explorer properties or the registry) it changes back to about:blank.

how can i get rid of this stupid thing?!?!?!?!

Virus and Spyware scans work better in Windows Safe-Mode.

May want to check this--
You cannot open a new Internet Explorer window or nothing occurs after you click a link
(or window is blank)

Go to Major Geeks.com and download CW Shredder and that will remove it and any other cool web malware.
